# OTO 76/62 (DD-558)

> The OTO Melara 76 mm/62 is a compact, rapid-fire naval gun designed in Italy by OTO Melara (now part of Leonardo) and in service since 1964. Its automatic loading system and revolving magazine let it fire up to about 120 rounds a minute in the Super Rapid version, and it has been adopted by many navies for anti-air, anti-ship and shore-bombardment roles. The footage, credited to vexrmedia, shows the gun's loading mechanism and a mount firing at sea.
