Leech Gourmet II

Short answer: Not all leeches are small blood-sippers. Some large leeches prey on amphibians such as frogs in rainforests and freshwater, latching on with their muscular, suckered bodies and feeding on blood or soft tissue; some species use a proboscis to pierce prey, while others have jaws.
